Consequent to the reduction in the price of domestically produced natural gas by the Government of India, Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) is pleased to reduce its Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) price by Rs. 2 /Kg and Domestic Piped Natural Gas (PNG) by Re. 1 / SCM in and around Mumbai effective from midnight of April 04, 2020 / early morning of April 05, 2020.
Accordingly, revised delivered prices inclusive of all taxes of CNG and Domestic PNG in and around Mumbai will be Rs. 47.95/Kg and Rs. 29.60/SCM (Slab 1) and Rs. 35.20/SCM (Slab 2) respectively.
After the above revision, MGL's CNG offers attractive savings of about 55% and 28% as compared to petrol and diesel respectively at current price levels in Mumbai. Also, MGL's Domestic PNG continues to deliver unmatched convenience, safety, reliability and environmental friendliness to consumers.
