MGL revises PNG and CNG price

The selling price of Domestically produced Natural Gas has been increased by 62% by the Government of India with effect from 01st October 2021. Further, Re-gasified LNG prices are at historically high levels. This combination has resulted in a significant increase in the cost of gas being procured by MGL.

Being a customer focused Company, MGL has always tried to maintain price stability for its CNG and Domestic PNG customers. However, since the increase in gas price is very high, MGL had decided to progressively recover such increase in gas cost. Accordingly, MGL is constrained to further increase the basic price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) by Rs. 2.30/Kg and Domestic Piped Natural Gas (PNG) by Rs 1.11/ SCM in and around Mumbai, effective from midnight of October 13, 2021 / early morning of October 14, 2021.

Accordingly, the revised delivered prices inclusive of all taxes of CNG will be Rs. 57.54/Kg and Domestic PNG Price will be Rs. 33.93/SCM (Slab 1) and Rs. 39.53/SCM (Slab 2) in and around Mumbai.

Even after the above revision, MGL's CNG offers attractive savings of about 64% and 43% as compared to petrol and diesel respectively at current price levels in Mumbai. MGL's Domestic PNG offers 33% saving as compared to current price of Domestic LPG while delivering unmatched convenience, safety, reliability and environmental friendliness to consumers.

All our valued customers may please take note of these revisions.
