Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL), one of India's leading Natural Gas Distribution Companies, has launched an incentive scheme 'MGL Hat-trick Yojana' for promoting usage of CNG in Commercial Vehicle (CV) segment. Presently, owner of CNG driven commercial vehicle is already saving about 35% on fuel cost. Apart from this substantial fuel cost savings, now CV owners will be incentivised by way of a grant of up to Rs 40000/- under the 'MGL Hat-trick Yojana'. This scheme will be applicable for all customers on first come first serve basis who will either buy new CNG CV or convert their existing CV to CNG during the scheme period from 20th November 2021 to 31st January 2022.
This incentive will be offered in the form of pre-loaded MGL fuel card and can be used for CNG purchase from any specified MGL CNG stations. To avail the scheme, customers will have to simply get enrolled for the scheme by submitting the application form along with the requisite documents. Speaking about MGL's initiative to launch 'MGL Hat-trick Yojana' for CNG Commercial Vehicles, Sanjib Datta, Managing Director, said "MGL always focuses on creating value for all its stakeholders and this initiative is launched to promote use of CNG in the Commercial Vehicle segment.
