MGL joins hands with Transport Department for Developing Framework on CNG Safety

Transport Department of Maharashtra along with Mahanagar Gas Limited, Mumbai & Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited, Pune organized one day seminar on "Development of framework for ensuring safety in CNG installation, usage and periodic testing" at Mumbai recently.

Transport Commissioner, Maharashtra, Joint Chief Controller of Explosive along with other PESO(Petroleum & Safety Organization) officials and officials of The Automotive research Association of India (ARAI), Pune were present. Transport officials from all over Maharashtra attended this seminar along with other stake holders like CNG retrofitters and hydro-testing agencies.

Seminar was mainly focused on safety in CNG installation and recently used safety guidelines by various Govt. agencies and safe practices in CNG as automotive fuel.

Shri. V. N. More - Transport Commissioner Maharashtra, Shri. G. M. Reddy - Joint CCOE, Shri. U. A. Kulkarni- Sr. Asst. Director ARAI, Shri V.C. Chittoda, Managing Director- MGL & Shri B.N.Gosain, Managing Director -MNGL were present for the Seminar.
