Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL), one of India's leading City Gas Distribution (CGD) Company got listed as a public offering company.
MGL is the sole authorized distributor of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) in Mumbai, its adjoining areas and Raigad district in Maharashtra. CNG is used in motor vehicles and PNG for household, commercial and industrial use.
Considering MGL’s vast network, potential growth opportunities in newer areas, robust natural gas consumption outlook suggesting steady growth, strong management background, high entry barriers MGL got listed 28% over the issue price.
Attended by top dignitaries representing MGL, BSE, GAIL, BG/Shell ,Members of Counsels and other important media officials, MGL took the opportunity of thanking everybody for making the listing a grand success.
