Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) observed Oil & Gas Conservation Fortnight 2016 with the objective to propagate clean fuel to have a pollution free environment. During the fortnight the entire Oil and Gas Industry under the guidance of MOP&NG undertakes various activities to emphasize the need and importance of conservation of petroleum products and environment protection.
Aligning its activities in line with the theme ‘Indhan ho swach… jan gan ho swasth’ MGL Team held a number of sessions at various touch points such as housing societies, commercial establishments, CNG filing stations, for creating an awareness about eco-friendly Piped Natural Gas (PNG) and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). For emphasizing proper and safe usage of natural gas for protection of environment, an Audio-Visual on Gas Safety Awareness was released during this period. Internal quiz competition for the employees and drawing competition on Oil and Gas conservation for school children were other activities which were undertaken for spreading the message of conservation.
